I’m Sarah. Wife to Blake, “Mommy” to Asher, and also a mother who grieves the loss of three beautiful babies to miscarriage.
We joined the community of bereaved parents July of 2014 with our first miscarriage. At the time we did not know anyone who had walked out miscarriage but as we began to share our journey several others began to share theirs with us.
Shortly after we miscarried Baby B we learned we were again pregnant and in May of 2015 we gave birth to our son, Asher. He has been such a joy in our lives and we are so thankful for him.
In 2016 I joined Hearts Abide (Memorial Walk for Babies at that time). I wanted a way to honor our Baby B, to grieve with others, and also to let other families know they are not alone in the journey of pregnancy and infant loss.
2017 Blake and I felt ready to grow our family and began trying for a sibling for Asher who was constantly telling us he wanted a brother. Unfortunately in January of 2018 we suffered another miscarriage, Ava, and again in August, Abigail.
We are not sure what the future looks like for our family but we fully trust the Lord and His plans. He works all things for good for those who love him. While this is our story, it’s for His Glory!
